‘Kara’s day 14 collections have a noticeable decline
According to Sacnilk, ‘Kara’ earned Rs 64 lakh on its fourteenth day in India. This represents a drop of almost 21 percent from Day 13, when the film collected Rs 81 lakh. The latest figure came from 1,385 shows across the country.With this, the film’s net collection in India has reached 35.95 crores. The gross in India is currently Rs 41.40 crore. Overseas, the film has earned 10.50 crores, taking its worldwide gross collection to 51.90 crores.

On day 12, which was the second Monday, Kara collected Rs 77 lakh from 1,692 shows and registered 16.6 percent occupancy. On Day 13, the second Tuesday, the collections improved marginally to 81 lakh with an even occupancy of 16.6 percent from 1,727 shows. On Day 14, the second Wednesday, collections fell to Rs 64 lakh from 1,385 shows, and occupancy fell to 16.0 percent.
‘Kara’s occupation remains decent in Tamil Nadu
The Tamil 2D release registered an overall occupancy of 12.34 percent on the 14th day. Morning shows started with 10.36 percent occupancy. Evening shows rose to 11.27 percent. Evening shows fell to 9.45 percent. Night shows improved and closed at 12.00 percent. ‘Kara’ is set in 1991 during the Gulf War between Iraq and the United States.
