The main positives are of course Mohanlal and Mammootty, I would say the main drawback for me was the sheer length of the movie. There were high moments but the movie should have been cut by at least 40.50 minutes to make it more engaging.Another viewer offered a more balanced view of the film’s execution, saying:“The basic story is not entirely novel. Similar thematic elements were explored in recent Malayalam films like JSK and Hridayapoorvam, albeit as sub-plots. However, Patriot tries to present this idea on a much larger canvas. Talking about the positive factors, Manush Nandan’s cinematography was rich and exudes class appeal. Editing by Mahesh Narayanan and Rahul Radhakrishnan was crisp and sharp.”DISCLAIMER: The box office numbers and data in this article have been collected from public and industry sources.
