2026 Skoda Kodiaq Launched With Price Cut: New Features, Variants & More

Skoda Auto India has finally launched the 2026 Skoda Kodiaq SUV in the Indian market, priced at Rs 36.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The overall design and mechanical setup remain unchanged, while feature revisions are aimed at enhancing the ownership experience. Skoda has also significantly revised the pricing structure of the Kodiaq. The entry-level Lounge trim is now over Rs 3 lakh cheaper, while the Sport Line variant is a premium of Rs 1 lakh. The prices of the range-topping selection L&K have also increased by Rs 50,000.

The biggest addition to the 2026 Kodiaq is the addition of Level 2 ADAS on mid-spec Sportline and Select L&K variants. It gets adaptive cruise control, adaptive headlights, lane keep assist, blind spot warning, and front warning assist, rear cross traffic alert and more. The Sport Line variant now gets several features that were previously limited to the top-spec L&K trim, including an illuminated grille, Level 1 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, and a pre-crash occupant protection system.

Apart from these, the Kodiaq continues to get a 13.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, a 10-inch digital instrument cluster with HUD display, 15W wireless smartphone charging with active cooling, unique LED ambient light strip placements and front door storage. Other expected features include connected car tech, an inbuilt navigation system, a premium sound system, performance-oriented features display, power delivery display and off-road information display.The Skoda Kodiaq is powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine with 190 PS of power and 320 nm of torque. It is mated to a 7-speed DSG gearbox, which sends power to all four wheels. Skoda says the Kodiaq offers a claimed fuel efficiency of 14.86 kmpl. The SUV will take on rivals including the Toyota Fortuner, Volkswagen Teron R-Line, MG Gloucester and Jeep Meridian, while also serving as a replacement for the upcoming MG Magister.
