Manipur HSLC Result 2026: The Board of Secondary Education, Manipur (BOSEM) has declared the results of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination 2026, recording an overall pass percentage of 88.74%. A total of 32,459 candidates out of 36,579 students cleared the exam this year.The results also confirm the continuity of grades and grade points system introduced from HSLC examination 2024 onwards, as per the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Under the revised system, the marks are no longer displayed on the certificate-cum-grade statement issued by the board.According to BOSEM, these reforms have been implemented in accordance with Government Order No. 1. MISC5/1/2024-EDN(S) -EDN(S) dated 15th March 2024, with resolution passed by the Board on 20th April 2024. The board said the initiative aims to reduce academic stress and encourage holistic development among students.Manipur HSLC Result 2026: Overall PerformanceThis year, a total of 36,726 students appeared for the examination, including both regular and external candidates. The 2021 exam recorded a 100 percent pass rate due to the pandemic-era assessment policies.Grade and grade point system continues.BOSEM reiterated that no marks will be displayed in the certificate-cum-grade statement. Re-admission window is open for unsuccessful candidates.Students who failed in HSLC examination 2026 and want to re-appear as regular candidates in 2027 examination can re-admit to class X in their respective schools within 45 days from the date of declaration of results.The board has directed the schools to send the list of re-admitted candidates within 60 days of the declaration of results. Schools have also been directed to ensure that students’ admit numbers are entered correctly in their application forms.Re-scrutiny of applications from 11th MayCandidates willing to recheck the answer scripts can apply between 11th May to 25th May 2026.
