WBBSE Intermediate Result 2026: The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education will announce the WBBSE Madhyamik Result 2026 on 8 May 2026. Around 9.71 lakh students appearing for the Class 10 board exam across the state are waiting for the online release of score cards. The board conducted the exam from February 2 to February 12 at more than 2,600 centers in West Bengal.Once the result link is activated, students will be able to access their marks through official websites as well as the Times of India result portal. Candidates can download the provisional mark sheet by entering their roll number and date of birth. DigiLocker and SMS facilities will also be available for students facing heavy online traffic during the result declaration period.Steps to Check Result on TOI PortalStudents can check WBBSE Class 10 Madhyamik Result 2026 on TOI portal by following few simple steps. Candidates need to visit the result page and enter the required login details carefully before submitting the information.Step 1: Open TOI Education Result Portal For WBBSE Class 10 Results.Step 2: Enter the roll number in the required field.Step 3: Enter the date of birth in DDMMYY format.Step 4: Click on submit button to access the result.After submission, the mark sheet will appear on the screen. Students can download and save a copy for future reference until schools distribute the original mark sheets and certificates.Details recorded on the mark sheetThe online mark sheet will contain the student’s name, roll number, registration number, subject wise marks, grade, total marks obtained and eligibility status. Students are advised to verify all the details carefully after downloading the score card.Candidates need to secure a minimum of 34% aggregate marks, which is equivalent to 272 marks out of 800, with separate passing marks in each subject to pass the Madhyamik exam. Students who fail in a limited number of subjects can later appear for compartmental examinations conducted by the board.The overall pass percentage last year was 86.56 percent while the board declared the results on May 2. The pass ratio in 2024 was recorded at 83.61%. Schools are expected to start distributing certificates soon after the results are declared online.
