While the CBSE Class 10 results were declared in the first half of April, lakhs of students are still waiting for their 12th scores. However, data from previous years clearly shows that this wait is not unusual, and the resulting timeline largely conforms to the pattern established by the Central Board of Secondary Education.A look at previous years shows that CBSE Class 12 results are usually declared after 10 May. In both 2024 and 2025, the results were declared on May 13, while in 2023, they were released on May 12. This consistent pattern suggests that the mid-May window (10-15 May) is the standard period for CBSE Class 12 results.The only major exceptions were during the pandemic years 2021 and 2022, when the results were delayed until July due to disruptions in the testing and evaluation process. Apart from these exceptional years, CBSE has largely maintained a stable timeline of mid-May.This year, the Class 12 board exams were held from February 17 to April 10. After the conclusion of the exams, the evaluation process began in phases using CBSE’s digital marking system, with the objective of speeding up the evaluation and ensuring uniform assessment across all subjects.
