Akshay Kumar‘Bhooth Bangla’ has completed two weeks in theatres. The film crossed the 200 crore mark worldwide in 14 days in theatres. The arrival of new movies in cinemas this Friday has affected the box office number of the horror comedy. The collections saw a drop in the weekend score. However, it managed to earn a good amount, which will add to the overall profit of the film.

Day 15 collection at ‘Bhooth Bangla’ box office

The Priyadarshan directorial earned 84.40 crores and 43.75 crores in week 1 and week 2 respectively. Now, as per Sacnilk report, on day 15, the Akshay Kumar starrer collected Rs 4.50 crore from 4,807 shows.This represents a growth of 28.6% compared to the 14th day box office score of 3.50 crores.Meanwhile, the gross collection of the film in India has reached 157.55 crores and the net collection in India is 132.65 crores.

Worldwide collection of ‘Bhooth Bangla’

Akshay Kumar’s horror-comedy earned over 100 crores worldwide in four days of its release and crossed over 200 crores in two weeks. Now on its 15th day, the Priyadarshan-directed film has collected Rs 1.25 crore in the overseas market, taking its total overseas collection to Rs 53.50 crore. With this, the worldwide gross collection of the film stands at 211.05 crores.

Box office competition

The Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan collaboration project is facing competition from Ritiesh Deshmukh’s ambitious project ‘Raja Shivaji’ and Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi starrer ‘Ek Din’. Meanwhile, people are also watching Michael Jackson’s ‘Michael’ and Ranveer Singh’s biopic ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ in theatres.
