French carmaker Renault has launched the 2026 Triber in India. As part of this update, the model gets a lot of new features and improved functionality. The updated MPV is priced between Rs 5.80 lakh and Rs 8.48 lakh, ex-showroom, with the range now spread across four variants: Authentic, Evolution, Techno and Emotion.
2026 Renault Triber : What’s new?
With this update, Renault has focused on adding more value in the entry and mid-spec trims. One of the headline additions is the segment-first automatic climate control system, available on the top-end Emotion variant. The model also gets a one-touch fold and tumble function for the second row.Inside, the 2026 Triber gets a refreshed cabin layout with a dual-tone dashboard and a floating 20.32 cm touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Renault has also improved usability with features like a redesigned center console and improved accessibility across variants.
A highlight is the Triber’s flexible seating arrangement. It continues to offer 5-, 6- and 7-seater configurations, and the second-row seats can now fold completely flat. This increases the boot space to 1065 litres.The feature list has also been expanded in various categories. The Evolution trim now gets steering-mounted audio and phone controls, a day/night IRVM and a rear cabin lamp. The Techno variant adds driver armrest, height adjustable driver seat, rear defogger, third-row 12V socket, front tweeters and electrically foldable ORVM. Advanced emotional styling builds on it with the addition of automatic climate control..Under the hood, the MPV remains mechanically unchanged. It is powered by a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 72 hp and 96 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual across all variants and an AMT option on the top trim.Renault is also offering a standard 3-year warranty, extendable to 7 years under its Renault Secure programme, adding to the appeal of ownership.
