According to Money Control, Suniel Shetty spoke about the Char Dham Yatra after reaching Rishikesh. He said his experience is different from the usual complaints about congestion, traffic and poor planning during the pilgrimage.“People often hear complaints about traffic congestion, overcrowding and poor arrangements during the pilgrimage, but my experience was completely different,” he shared.He said that the Yatra starts from Rishikesh where thousands of pilgrims from all over India gathered. Char Dham Yatra 2026 picks up pace
Suniel Shetty also said that he wants to join the pilgrimage. “I plan to do the Char Dham pilgrimage on my next visit,” he said.The yatra officially gathered momentum after the reopening of the Kedarnath temple on April 22. Pushkar Singh Dhami was the chief minister of Uttarakhand at the re-opening ceremony.The temple was decorated for the occasion, and rituals were performed with devotion. The complete Char Dham circuit includes Badrinath Temple, Gangotri Temple and Yamunotri Temple. Gangotri and Yamunotri were opened earlier on Akshaya Tritiya.This year, the authorities have focused on making the pilgrimage safer and easier. The steps include online registrations, stronger crowd management and efforts to promote a cleaner and greener yatra.Suniel’s comments came as a positive amid the huge turnout.
