At the event, Dhanush spoke about a key moment in his career and shared an emotional memory. “‘Polladhavan’ was a turning point for me…before, people used to call me very thin,” she said, The Indian Express reported. She added: “When I suddenly showed up with a six-pack, it was the first time I got applause for my body… I’ll never forget that moment.” He described the film as very special and said that it changed the way people looked at him. His honest words connected well with the fans, who cheered them loudly during his speech.

Dhanush also gave an update on his upcoming projects, making fans excited and curious. “Three directors are patiently waiting for me with scripts,” he shared. He revealed that he is currently doing a film with Rajkumar Periyasamy, followed by a project with Mari Selvaraj. “In between, there is Pachamuthu Thamizharasan’s film…and then I have to complete ‘Vadachennai 2’,” he said. He made it clear that it will take a few years to finish all these films and added: “Only after that I will think about directing.“

Talking about ‘Kara’, Dhanush praised the director Vignesh Raja and for his sincere efforts to the team. “We didn’t consciously plan this… but we have made an important film,” he said. He added, “If this film ties it together, it will give confidence that we can deliver a big hit without gimmicks or trends.” His words belied the content of the film.
