The unusual sequence of events, two balls lost in the first three overs, created confusion and clearly did not sit well with the Peshawar Zalmi captain. In reply, Lahore chased down the target in 19.3 overs led by Fakhar Zaman’s crucial innings with strong support from the middle order. Nearly 400 runs were scored in the high-scoring contest, but Lahore held their nerve in the final overs to seal a crucial win and keep their playoff hopes alive.
