Meghan Markle has offered a personal piece of wisdom to a bride-to-be on the eve of her wedding, and it’s the kind of advice that speaks to someone who’s clearly been thinking about marriage. In the clip, Meghan told the soon-to-be-married woman: “Ellie, I’m here with your dad. I wanted to say congratulations on your wedding. Enjoy the wedding, but it’s more than just the wedding. Meghan Markle on her wedding to Prince Harry

Meghan and Harry married in 2018 in a ceremony at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, attended by the late Queen Elizabeth, King Charles and Prince William. They are approaching their anniversary on May 19. The couple has since adopted two children, Archie and Lilibet. In April 2025, Meghan appeared on “The Jamie Kern Lima Show” where she was asked if she thought she and Harry would be “married forever”. She replied with a simple “Yes,” “He’s a fox too, in case you haven’t noticed. My husband is very, very handsome. But his heart is even more beautiful.”He continued: “There’s something different when you have a partner and a spouse behind you. H, that man loves me very much. And you know, look what we built. We have built a beautiful life and have two healthy and beautiful children. And you know, I always think like at the end of Super Mario Brothers, when you get to the last level. And what is the purpose of Super Mario? Like them, slay the dragon, save the princess. I said, that’s my husband. He’ll do everything he can to make sure our family is safe and protected, and we’re up and still making time for date nights.”As they approach their seventh wedding anniversary, Meghan’s words to Elli seem to reflect the philosophy she and Harry have taken to heart.
