New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education has activated the Integrated Payment System (IPS) to process final payments to examination centers and officials for the 2026 board examinations. The system has been made live so that schools can freeze data on the dedicated portal IPS Center Final 2026. Revised rates for allowance, conveyance, refreshment and related expenses have been included to be effective from 2026 examinations.According to a circular issued on April 21, 2026, Controller of Examinations Dr Sanim Bhardwaj, CBSE affiliated schools have been directed to complete data entry and ensure freezing of records within the stipulated time. The IPS portal has been developed to facilitate prompt processing of payments after completion of examination related activities and declaration of class 10th results.Integrated payment system for exam centers has been enabled.Under the IPS Center Final 2026 module, the Board has integrated the revised rates applicable for remuneration, transportation and refreshments for examination centers and associated personnel. The system is designed to ensure timely consolidation of financial records and facilitate prompt release of payments. Schools have to verify all details before final submission on the portal. The integrated payment system is being activated immediately after the declaration of Class 10th results, enabling examination centers to freeze the mandatory data and proceed with the verification process without delay. Schools should follow the instructions strictly.Instructions to schools to verify bank account detailsSchools have been instructed to ensure correctness of bank account details while completing data entry on the IPS portal. Principals need to personally review all data before freezing to avoid any inconsistencies or inconvenience at a later stage. Data collection and freezing is scheduled from April 22, 2026 to May 6, 2026, according to the official timeline. Refraining provision will be available between 8th May 2026 to 15th May 2026 in case of payment failure. The schedule must be followed strictly.
