As Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) is gearing up to declare the Class 10 and Class 12 results on April 25. A look at the last three years shows a steady improvement in the performance of students at both the levels.In 2025, Class 10 students achieved a pass percentage of 90.77%, with 99,725 out of 1,09,859 students clearing the exam. Class 12 results also improved, with 83.23 percent students passing. Around 88,518 students qualified out of 1,06,345 candidates, marking a strong year for the board.In 2024, the pass percentage in Class 10 stood at 89.14 percent, while Class 12 recorded 82.63 percent. More than two lakh students appeared for the exams this year. The results showed an increase compared to 2023, continuing the upward trend.The pass percentage in 2023 was lower in comparison. The percentage of class 10 was 85.17 percent while that of class 12 was 80.98 percent. A total of 1,27,844 students appeared for the class 10th examinations out of which 1,08,890 passed. 1,23,945 students appeared in class 12 and 1,00,380 passed the exam.
History by gender
The gender data for 2023 shows that girls outperformed boys in both classes. In class 12th, 83.49% girls passed compared to 78.48% boys. In Class 10, 88.94 per cent girls cleared the exam, while 81.48 per cent boys passed.Overall, the trend from 2023 to 2025 shows a gradual improvement, with both Class 10 and Class 12 pass rates increasing every year. Class 10, in particular, has shown rapid growth, crossing the 90 percent mark in 2025.
