KTM 390 Duke, Adventure get massive price cut, 350cc bikes launched!

KTM 390 Duke, Adventure price slashed, 350cc bike launched!

KTM has expanded its India lineup by introducing new 350cc versions of the KTM 390 Duke and KTM 390 Adventure, making these motorcycles more affordable. The move allows the brand to take advantage of the lower 18 percent GST bracket for sub-350cc bikes and reach out to a wider set of buyers. With prices coming down, competition in the segment is likely to increase. Recently, brands like Triumph and Bajaj have followed a similar approach by bringing smaller capacity versions of their 400cc motorcycles. The newly introduced 350cc variants are priced at Rs 2,77,268 for the Duke and Rs 2,80,905 for the Adventure (both ex-showroom, Delhi). This makes them around Rs 62,000 cheaper than their respective 399cc counterparts. Importantly, the existing models including the 390 Duke R, 390 Adventure X, S and R will continue to be sold with these new variants unchanged.KTM 390 Duke, Adventure: Engine Specs Powering both motorcycles is a 350cc engine that produces 41.5 hp and 33.5 Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed gearbox with slipper and assist clutches. Despite the reduced displacement, KTM has retained the core performance of these motorcycles, with only minor differences in output (a reduction of 4.5 hp and 5.5 Nm) compared to the larger engined version.

In terms of design and hardware, both the bikes remain largely unchanged. The Duke continues with its sharp, aggressive street fighter styling, while the Adventure carries on its rugged design inspired by larger models like the KTM 890 Adventure and KTM 1290 Super Adventure.
