While speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, the Emmy nominee reviewed the footage of his performance as Bad Bunny during this year’s Super Bowl Halftime show. The actor shared that he had fun making the film, but revealed one shocking detail: it was a last-minute addition!Speaking about the show and wanting to be a part of it, the actor said: “I wanted to be involved in any way – literally a volunteer position, like serving coffee if needed – and I channel my feelings through the people I work with. When it comes to representation that is in sync with the celebration, there is no one better than Benito at the moment, which fills me with inspiration beyond being super into his music.“He also said that he had contacted the singer’s team, but had no response. Instead, she reached out to someone through the mail, and “e-mailed someone with a selfie of me sticking my tongue out, saying, ‘That’s really me.’ 25 minutes later, they called me back and said, ‘We want you to come to the show.'” He said that while he knew something was up when he went to the show, he didn’t know he was going to be part of Bad Bunny’s La Casita.

The ‘Fantastic Four’ star also shared that the dance part of the performance was a huge surprise. She elaborated on the whole thing, saying that she was told the theme of the performance was ‘beige’, and that she was dragged off stage from her seat in the middle of the set. “So we’re in the stands watching the game and someone pulls me out of my seat and takes me backstage and then there’s Cardi B and there’s Young Miko and Karol G and Jessica Alba. They do a wardrobe check and then they’re like, ‘OK, it’s the vibe: you’re dancing,'” she shared. In addition to Pascal, many other famous people were present at Bad Bunny’s performance. This includes Cardi B, Young Miko, Karol G, Jessica Alba, Ricky Martin, Lady Gaga, Alix Earle, Dave Grutman and Ronald Acuña Jr.
