The actress is pregnant with her third child, her first with partner Tanguy Destable.The 44-year-old actress confirmed the news in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, saying, “Tanguy and I are very excited. I am very grateful. I know it is such a privilege and a miracle.“News of Portman’s pregnancy comes just days after the actress was spotted out and about, debuting her baby bump. The actress was spotted by the paparazzi in what appeared to be a bump, sheltered under oversized jackets. Portman has also been spotted with Destable, hiding her baby bump under thick wool sweaters. Portman’s relationship with Destable was first confirmed in March 2025 after the pair linked up with French outlet Voici. The actress already has two children. She shares son Aleph, 14, and daughter Amalia, 9, with ex-husband Benjamin Millepied. The news of her pregnancy comes a year after her divorce from the director-choreographer.Although she has kept her children out of the public spotlight, Portman has occasionally spoken about their influence on her career choices. The ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ star revealed that he was encouraged to take on the role of Mighty Thor. “I feel like this is the stage in my career where I’m really trying to impress my kids,” he told Variety in June 2022.In a separate interview Jenna Ortega For Interview Magazine, the actress emphasized her efforts to maintain the privacy of her children. “I’m not a particularly private person in real life – I’ll tell you anything – but it was very clear in public early on that if you tell people how private you are, your privacy is much more respected,” she explained. “I put up a little bit of a barrier to say, ‘I’m not going to do a photo shoot with my kids.'”The actress has yet to reveal more details about her pregnancy or when the baby is due.On the work front, Portman will be seen in the 2026 dark comedy ‘The Gallerist’. He is also starring in and producing the thriller ‘Photograph 51’.
