Andhra Pradesh Intermediate Public Examination (IPE) 1st and 2nd year results were officially declared on 15th April 2026, Wednesday. This was announced by Education Minister, Nara Lokesh, who noted that the results showed high academic performance levels, improvement in pass percentage and consistent district results.According to official data, the pass ratio for first-year candidates stood at 77 per cent, while for the second-year category, it stood at 81 per cent, indicating an upward trend in academic achievement. The results show that a total of 10.15 lakh candidates appeared for the exams this year.
Krishna The district emerged as the best performer.
In terms of district-wise performance, Krishna district emerged as the best performer, leading both the first and second year results. For the second-year general category, Krishna district secured the highest pass percentage of 92 percent, with 19,952 students securing more than the passing marks out of a total of 21,669 candidates who participated.Guntur district and NTR district stood second and third for the second year. The pass percentage of both the districts was 88% and 87% respectively.In the first year results, Guntur came second with 88 percent pass. Third in the list was Visakhapatnam district, with a pass percentage of 85%.
The lowest performing district was identified.
In contrast, Annamaya was the district with the lowest number of students passing both the first and second year examinations. Although specific details were not revealed, there was a clear indication that the area should be offered special educational support.
