The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP) has today announced important next steps for students after the declaration of AP Intermediate Public Examination (IPE) March 2026 Results on 15 April 2026. These include recount, recertification, and supplemental exam options for those who are dissatisfied with their scores or want to improve their performance.
Recount (RC) and Revification (RV): Dates and Details
Students who feel that there may be an error in the checking of their answer sheets may apply for:
- Recount (RC): Where marks are re-collected.
- Revalidation (RV): Where the answer script is rechecked and a scan copy is provided.
The application window for both RC and RV will be open from April 20 to April 27, 2026.The board has said that all efforts have already been made to ensure accurate evaluation, but the option is available to both first and second year students who still want to request re-examination.
Supplementary Examinations (IPASE 2026 ): Full schedule
Students who failed or want to improve their scores can appear for Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examinations (IPASE) May 2026.
- Theory Exams: From 21 May to 4 June 2026
- Exam Timings:
- Morning: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Afternoon: 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM
- Practical Exams: From 7 June to 11 June 2026 (at District Headquarters)
- Other Exams:
- Ethics and Human Values: 5 June 2026
- Environmental Education: June 6, 2026
Who can apply for an improvement?
First year students:
- Students who pass all subjects in IPE March 2026 can apply for improvement of their score.
Second year students:
- Students who have already passed but want to improve their marks must re-appear for all subjects, including practical exams. Their previous performance will be cancelled.
Fee Payment Dates
Students should complete the examination fee payment for IPASE 2026 through their colleges between 20th April to 27th April 2026.Simply put, students now have three clear options: apply for recount, go for revision, or appear for supplementary exams.
