New Delhi: The Indian Premier League 2026 clash between Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings turned into a record-breaking spectacle, with the milestones falling thick and fast. After captaining KL Rahul and Nitish Rana for Delhi Capitals, Punjab Kings opener Prabhasmaran Singh added his name to the elite list of the IPL.Prabhasmaran became the third batsman in IPL history to hit six fours in a single over. The onslaught came against Mukesh Kumar, with the young opener hitting six fours in an over. This rare feat was first achieved by Ajinkya Rahane while representing Rajasthan Royals in 2012, when he hit Srinath Aravind of Royal Challengers Bengaluru for six consecutive fours.Almost nine years later, Prithvi Shaw repeated the feat for Delhi Capitals in 2021. Facing Shivam Mavi of Kolkata Knight Riders, Shaw hit six fours in the very first over of the innings, becoming the first batsman to do so during the Powerplay. Now, Prabhasmaran has joined that exclusive club, further underlining the IPL’s reputation as a stage for fearless stroke play.He ended his sensational outing with 76 off just 26 balls before being dismissed by Kuldeep Yadav.Six fours in an over in IPL
