I don’t want to read such pieces. What’s the big deal? I have traveled by train,” he said.
The former Indian off-spinner emphasized that cricketers should be able to enjoy everyday experiences without sensationalizing them. He added, “I would love for us… international cricketers to be able to go to chawals and have tea with people. In fact, we have forgotten that the joys of life are in the small moments.”Dubey reportedly tried to avoid attention while traveling in an AC three-tier coach by wearing a cap, mask and a full-sleeved T-shirt. A ticket checker briefly suspected his identity after seeing his name on the reservation chart, but the situation was defused when his wife casually dismissed the possibility.On the field, Dubey was one of India’s key contributors during their title-winning campaign.
