in the trailer of Ranveer Singh starrer, Zahoor says, “Hindu ek darpok qaum hai, pados mein hi rehte hai hum, goodebhar ka zor laga lo aur bigaad lo joh bigaad sakte ho (Hindus are a cowardly community, we live in the neighborhood, use all your strength and spoil everything you can).” Vivek also shared a reel on Instagram featuring the same conversation, generating a flurry of comments.

In a new reel addressed to the audience, the actor said, “Hi, namaste mera naam hain Vivek Sinha. Kal maine and video daali thi ki dialog Dhurandhar photo ka… Bhai itna gussa, itne you comment? Pata hai har comment mein kya ho raha hai? ‘Teri shakal humein aatankwadi jaisi lag rahi hai’, ‘Mann kar raha hai ki screen ke andar ghuske maarte hain’, ‘Tune humein gussa dila diya’… Ek baat bolun? Itna achha laga na mujhe ye jo deshbhakti hai na hamare andar, salute hai isko. Ek keh raha hai, ‘Tujhe Pakistan mein ghuskar maarunga (Hi, I’m Vivek Sinha. I posted a video with an interview from the movie… So much anger, so many comments? Do you know what every comment says? “You look like a terrorist”, “I feel like punching you from the screen”, “You made us angry”… Do I need to tell you something? “I will come to Pakistan and beat you up).”
Sinha continued, “Ek baat bolun mujhe sach mein itna acccha laga na, humare andar jo deshbhakti hai na, usse salaam hai. Ek keh raha hai ‘Tujhe Pakistan mein ghus kar maarunga’, toh bata du bhai main Pakistan ka nahi hoon. Main Bijnor ka rehne filhaal re Mumbada hoon ain mein (I really like) the amount of love we have for our country. Say hello to that. One of you said that I wanted to come to Pakistan and die there. I want to clarify that I am from Bijnor and currently staying in Mumbai). In conclusion, despite the abuse directed at his character, he is grateful for the spotlight on his role and encouraged everyone to catch him in cinemas.
