Varun Dhawan and David Dhawan they have recently opened up about their personal and professional lives. The filmmaker also shared his experience of working with the former superstar Govinda. During the interaction, the actor revealed that while writing the script for the film, he would imagine how his father Govinda would perform that particular scene.

The last episode of Kapil Sharma‘ comedy show featured Varun Dhawan and his filmmaker father David Dhawan as guests. In a candid interaction, the director shared, “I have done 17 films with Govinda – all of them have been superhits. I think Govinda is one of the best actors I have worked with.”
Varun was quick to say, “Whatever scene is being written, every scene he remembers Govinda, he thinks about how Chichi Bhaiyya would do the scene. Then I tell him that I also have to do it for my audience, but that I have a very high standard to fulfill.’The actor shared what kind of references his father would always give Salman KhanGovinda or Anil Kapoor would do a particular scene. He added, “But I need to know how Varun would do that scene.”
