UPSC CDS II Result 2025: The Union Public Service Commission has announced the final results of the Combined Defense Services Examination (II) 2025, shortlisting 302 merit-based candidates for admission to key defense training institutes. The exam was conducted in September 2025, followed by interviews by the Services Selection Board under the Ministry of Defence.Selected candidates have qualified for admission to the 161st (DE) course of the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun. Indian Naval Academy, Ezemala, Kerala; and Air Force Academy, Hyderabad under Pre-Flying Training Course No. 220 F(P). The announcement was made in New Delhi.Details of vacancies and course assignmentsAccording to official information, the total vacancies notified include 100 posts in the Indian Military Academy, of which 13 are reserved for NCC ‘C’ certificate holders of the Army Wing. The Indian Naval Academy has 26 vacancies, including six for NCC ‘C’ certificate holders of the Naval Wing and two in the Hydro category.There are 32 posts in the Air Force Academy, of which three are reserved for candidates holding NCC ‘C’ certificate under Air Wing through the NCC Special Entry Scheme. Some candidates appear in multiple merit lists for different courses.Selection Process and Eligibility StepsThe commission had earlier recommended 2,666 candidates for the written examination for the Indian Military Academy, 814 for the Indian Naval Academy and 636 for the Air Force Academy. The final list reflects the candidates who cleared the Services Selection Board Interviews conducted by the Army Headquarters.Results are generated without factoring in clinical examination results. Verification of date of birth and educational qualification is currently underway.
