Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has officially released the final selection results for the posts of Police Sub-Inspector (Secret), Assistant Sub-Inspector (Clerical) and Assistant Sub-Inspector (Accounts). This notification follows the recruitment process for a total of 921 posts under Direct Recruitment 2023.Candidates appearing for the written test, document verification, physical standard test, computer typing test and stenography test for the respective posts can now access their selection status through the official website of UPPRPB. A total of 912 candidates have been successfully selected in all categories including 178 women candidates.Detailed category selectionOut of 921 posts, 242 candidates from EWS and Unreserved Categories, 464 from Other Backward Classes, 197 from Scheduled Castes, and 09 from Scheduled Tribes have been selected based on the merit and reservation policies issued by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The selection includes the posts of Police Sub-Inspector (Secret), Assistant Sub-Inspector (Clerical) and Assistant Sub-Inspector (Accounts).The cut-off marks for the final shortlisted candidates vary across categories. The cut-off for unreserved candidates for Police Sub-Inspector (Secret) was 316.26, OBC 299.57, SC 225.04, while the cut-off for ASI Clerk unreserved candidates was 334.61, and for ASI Accounts unreserved 318.61. Candidates can check their results by entering their registration number and date of birth. Results of computer typing test are also published and accessible separately.Tie-break rules and final formIn case of equal numbers, ranking is determined by using the alphabetical order of preferred qualifications, seniority, and candidate’s name. Selection is subject to medical examination, educational qualification verification, reservation certificate and character verification.The board has clarified that due care has been taken in preparing and uploading the results, but it is not responsible for technical errors.
