UGC NET December 2025: National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the revised final answer keys for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December 2025 session. The revision has been made after the agency followed the directions issued by the Delhi High Court.Earlier, the final answer keys were released on April 3. However, the keys did not include all subjects. At that time, answer keys were released only for History, Economics, Education, Commerce and Hindi. After reviewing the objections and court directions, NTA has now released the revised final answer keys.
Changes in date paper
The history subject saw the most changes. NTA has excluded four questions from the paper. Also, three questions are now marked with two correct answers. These changes were made after objections from several candidates.Students who have appeared for these subjects can expect the revised results soon. The latest results are likely to be released on the official website anytime.
Changes in the article of commerce
For the Commerce paper, which was taken in the first shift on January 3, three questions have been omitted. A question has two correct answers.
No change in other subjects.
NTA has not made any changes in Economics, Education and Hindi papers.

- The academic exam was held on January 3.
- Even in the Hindi exam, no questions were left out.
The UGC NET December 2025 exam was held from 31 December 2025 to 7 January 2026. The provisional answer key was released on 14th January.This examination is conducted to determine eligibility for admission to Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor positions, and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programs.The legal issue started after a writ petition was filed by student Kartikeya Kahol. He challenged four question IDs: 4324498604, 4324498530, 4324498544, and 4324498600, and requested the court to review them.A total of 60,777 candidates appeared for the History paper in the December session. The results were declared on February 4. After the results, many candidates claimed that many questions were wrongly marked. Some candidates also expressed concerns on social media saying that the mistakes were overlooked.Following the court’s direction and further review, NTA has now released the revised final answer keys.
