TS Inter Results 2026: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has declared the Intermediate Public Examination (IPE) March 2026 results for first and second year students. The results were announced at 11:00 am from the board office in Hyderabad. Students of both general and vocational streams can now check their marks memo online.A clear trend has emerged this year, with girls performing better than boys in both the first and second year examinations. The difference in pass percentage between the two groups is significant.
Girls lead in first year results.
The overall pass percentage in the first year examinations was 66.20%. The pass percentage of girls was 74.40 percent while that of boys was 57.69 percent. This shows a gap of more than 16 percentage points between the two.Out of 2,49,110 girls, 1,85,331 passed. In this competition, 2,40,013 boys appeared and 1,38,475 passed the exam.
Great performance by the girls in the second year as well
This trend continued in the results of the second year. The overall pass percentage was 70.58%. Girls scored 78.65% while boys scored 62.50%.A total of 2,54,050 girls appeared in the second year examinations out of which 1,99,813 passed. Of the boys, 2,53,898 appeared and 1,58,677 passed the examination.
The difference in the streams remains constant.
Differences in performance are seen in both general and professional contexts. In both the years, girls maintained a clear lead over boys in pass percentage. The data shows that this gap is not limited to a specific category but is consistent across the board.

Students appearing for the examinations can check their results through the official websites of TGBIE. Apart from the official portals, the results are also available on Times of India (TOI) Portal.Students are advised to download a copy of their marks memo and keep it with them for future reference.Students who want to apply for recount or recertification can apply online from 13th April to 20th April 2026. The supplementary exams will start from 13 May 2026.
