Sharan Hegde, an entrepreneur and founder of The 1% Club who also runs one. Youtube A channel named ‘financewithsharan’ has claimed that his YouTube account has been hacked through his personal Instagram account.
In his Instagram post, he stated that his account was compromised and the hackers started live streaming bitcoin prices on his YouTube channel. Hegde claimed that the live stream on his YouTube channel drove Bitcoin prices to $100K which translates to about Rs 69,448.00.
Hegde mentioned that as part of the negotiations, all the content of the YouTube channel was deleted, but it was later recovered.
His post read, “The hacker took control of the account and started a live stream of Bitcoin prices reaching $100k – without my consent of course. Within minutes, I received 100 DMs from you guys informing me of this fact. Thank you so much for alerting me but unfortunately the channel was closed and I have no idea what I was doing in 3 years of my hard work. Eyes.”
