According to the report, several Security flaws Found in several versions of the Android operating system. The government agency has warned users about existing vulnerabilities that have been reported.
What the government has said.
According to the report, several vulnerabilities have been reported in Android that can be exploited by an attacker. Sensitive informationgain elevated privileges, execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service terms on the targeted system.
Android has vulnerabilities due to flaws in the framework, system, AMLogic, Arm components, MediaTek components, Qualcomm components and Qualcomm closed source components.
Also, successful exploitation of these vulnerabilities could allow an attacker to obtain sensitive information and gain privileges and execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service on the targeted system.
Affected Android version
Vulnerabilities have been found in various versions of Android including Android 11, Android 12, Android 12L, Android 13 and Android 14 operating systems. Also, it affects both Android-powered smartphones and tablets.
What is the solution?
The government agency has advised users to apply the latest security patches available for their devices.
To check for updates, follow these steps:

  • Open Settings on your smartphone or tablet.
  • Tap on Software Updates.
  • Then, tap on the Check for Updates button.
  • If an update is available, press Install.
  • Wait for it to download and install.
  • Once done, restart the phone.
