Taylor Swift named Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni in jury selection questions ahead of May 18 trial - Report
Unexpectedly, Taylor Swift’s name is appearing in the selection stage of the jury, which includes Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. Although Swift has distanced herself from Lively in recent times, she has been mentioned alongside other celebrities such as Ryan Reynolds.

It seems that Taylor Swift and Blake Lively’s falling out was not the end of their story. As Blake Lively’s first trial and Justin Baldoni‘s case is approaching, it has been revealed that Swift is one of the names appearing in the questions that will determine the jury in the case.

Taylor Swift mentioned Blake Lively, in the case of Justin Baldoni

TMZ recently reported that the ‘It Ends With Us’ star’s two legal teams worked on a series of questions. These questions will be asked of the jurors in May to form an unbiased panel for the judging process. The questions alluded to Swift’s name, who has stayed away from Lively since the case drama broke. A question to ask potential jurors is, “Do you know any of these people you might hear from during the trial?” The question also included the names of Hasan Minhaj, Jenny Slate, author Colleen Hoover, Ryan Reynolds, Robyn Lively and many others. The ‘Opalite’ singer’s name is included in the long list of celebrities who may be named in the trial or asked to testify in court.

Justin Baldoni’s legal representatives are requesting an extension

Justin Baldoni’s legal team has also asked the judge for an extension. They all mentioned that it takes more time to review and verify Lively’s witness and exhibit lists because of their length. Their filings further stated, “Lively’s lists are currently impractical for both pretrial and trial purposes, obscure witnesses and exhibits that the Wayfarer Parties will actually have to deal with, and create a great deal of unnecessary work at a time when the parties should be focusing their trial efforts.”The ‘Green Lantern’ actor and his legal team alleged that much of the content presented is not relevant to the case. The list of items being sent includes an article about Taylor Swift’s cookie recipe and her photos, as well as an article that mentions Reynolds and his commitment to his family and his relationship with Lively. The official trial date has been set for next month, May 18.
