The filmmaker questions the associations of producers and workers
T Rajendar expressed concern that the Tamil Film Producers Council and the South Indian Film Workers’ Federation were involved in stalling the shooting of the film. He questioned whether it was fair to take such measures when the matter had been dealt with legally.According to him, if the producers’ associations have supported the rights of a producer, the organizations that represent the actors should also appear when an actor has difficulties. Rajendar suggested that the Nadigar Sangam should also get involved to help artists and ensure justice in such situations.
T. Rajendar calls for dialogue and a peaceful solution
In the latter part of his statement, T. Rajendar questioned whether it was appropriate to stop an ongoing film project after a court had given its verdict. He said that taking such measures could affect many people working in the film industry. T. Rajendar emphasized the importance of a peaceful solution which would be in accordance with the law and which would be satisfactory to all stakeholders in the production of the film.
