The trailer for Tom Holland and Zendaya’s ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ has dropped and fans are in awe. As anticipation rises, a certain scene in the trailer has caught the attention of fans, and it has nothing to do with the high-intensity action. Peter Parker keeps the letter he wrote for MJ from the events of ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’.
Peter Parker’s undelivered letter for MJ
In case you missed reading the entire note, here’s what it read: “Hi, my name is Peter Parker, and you don’t remember me, but I have something to tell you that may sound crazy. But it’s true, and I know you’ll believe me, because you’re so good at telling when I’m lying. We used to know each other. But something bad would happen to the world. And the only way to stop it was for everyone to forget about me, including you. Because I’m not just Peter Parker. I’m Spider-Man. And sometimes Spider-Man has to do the hard thing, even if it breaks Peter Parker’s heart. I may never read this to you. Maybe I’m writing this for myself. Maybe that’s my responsibility, to live only with the truth. But it’s true, I love you. And I hope that deep down, something inside of you remembers that you love me too.
After ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’, Peter made a devastating choice to erase everyone he loves from his memories. Set four years later, ‘Spider Man: Brand New Day’ presents an older and completely alone version of Peter. The trailer shows that Zendaya’s MJ has a new boyfriend, played by Eman Esfandi.
