In an interview with NDTV, Mukesh talked about the casting of the cast of ‘Dhurandhar’. Chhabra added that initially, it was quite difficult to convince Akshaye Khanna for the role of Rehmand Dakait in the film. Now, for the uninitiated, the actor stays in Alibaug, Maharashtra and came to Mumbai to narrate the script. He even praised it Aditya Dhar for his strict attention, avoiding the confusion of multiple opinions.Chhabra said, “Even bringing two heroes together is difficult today, but here we have brought together so many stars, and rightly so.”The casting director added, “He came all the way, heard the story and said it’s wonderful.” Chhabra recalls, “We sent him the script, and he read it the same day and called me saying, ‘It’s so good; I’m doing it’.” He added that he was “very impressed” by the actors’ roles.Mukesh Chhabra credited director Aditya Dhar for supporting his decisions.
