Last year, rapper Lil Nas X was arrested by authorities after he was found naked in public, and also assaulted a police officer. According to the latest update, the musician may soon be cleared of all charges if he complies with the law and completes a legally mandated treatment plan.

Rolling Stone reports that Lil Nas X, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, attended a hearing in his case at a Los Angeles court. During the hearing, Judge Alan Schneider mentioned that the rapper’s behavior during his arrest last year was “out of his usual behavior”.He mentioned that the charges against Lil Nas X could be dropped soon, as long as he attends the sessions and mental health treatment plans created for him. It also seems that the rapper is doing much better since last year’s recording. Hill also requested a treatment plan, which the judge signed off on yesterday. After the audition, Nas X also told the outlet, “I’m grateful. So grateful. Just. It could have been much worse.”When he was arraigned in the case last year, he pleaded not guilty to all four counts. If convicted, he could face up to 5 years in prison.

Montero was found in the middle of the night on Ventura Boulevard, possibly drunk. They found him walking around in nothing but his underwear and cowboy boots. Authorities took him to the hospital for a possible overdose and charged him with assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest at the time. The rapper was also later diagnosed with bipolar disorder and received treatment. According to the report, her father also released a statement which read: “What a 26-year-old has to deal with, being the promoter of many people, the inability to change his mother’s situation and the pressure he puts on himself.”
