“Rajkumar Santoshi insisted on me”

Shehzad has backed Rajkumar Santoshi. “He told me, ‘I threw them all away, but for one character—Bhalla—I insisted on you,'” he recalled.However, there was a catch. “He said, ‘You have to use your father Ajit’s voice and style’. I was nervous…but I agreed. And so the journey began.”The decision did not go well at home. “Yes, he was angry. He told me, ‘Next time, don’t you dare do this again,'” Shehzad revealed.

‘People were looking for me’

Despite the warning, he continued. “What could I do? People appreciated it. At the end of the day, we’re entertainers, we’re here to entertain the public,” he said.Explaining his stance, he added: “I told people that he liked it. Also, he stopped working at that point.
