Responding to the controversy, the veteran actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha he has gained weight, making his attitude clear.Speaking in an interview to News18, Sinha rubbished the claims about the film’s narrative.“I haven’t seen Dhurandhar 2, but I have seen Dhurandhar 1, and I really liked the movie. I even tweeted about it,” he said.He added: “I read those claims, but I wouldn’t call it propaganda. A movie is a movie, it has entertainment, it has maturity.”

Praising the film’s director, Sinha said, “I think Aditya Dhar has emerged as a role model today. Great director, such a well-made film – we haven’t seen such compelling cinema in a long time.”When asked to pick his favorite among films like Dhurandhar, Pathaan, Ek Tha Tiger and Dhurandhar 2, Sinha said, “Dhurandhar, I really liked it.”He added, “And Pathaan – Shah Rukh Khan is a national icon. Of course I like his films, but I haven’t seen Pathaan.”Confirming his opinion, he said, “Dhurandhar was very good. I really liked him.”

I will say it after I watch the film.”Facing criticism of the first film, Sinha remained steadfast.“No, no – I have already praised Dhurandhar 1. Once I have praised, that’s the end of it,” he said.
