The death of a legendary singer Asha Bhosle He has left the music industry in deep mourning. As tributes go, music director Shamir Tandon opened up about his close bond with the icon, recalling the touching words of his last collaboration.Speaking to ANI, Tandon said, “My journey started in 2003 when he sang one of my songs with Aai for Page 3, which was a National Award winning film.”He also shared a poignant memory related to one of his last Hindi songs: “One of the last Hindi songs I did, written by my dear friend Prasoon Joshi. Usko bol hai ‘Jaane Do, Jaane Do, Khud Se Milna Hai, Jaane Do’. Isse woh bahut karti thi. Woh kehti thi ki ab bas bahut ho gaya, ab mujhe bahut ache tarike se chale jana hai. Khud se milna jana hai…”She added, explaining her words, “The lyrics of the song were like ‘Jaane Do, Jaane Do, Khud Se Milna Hai, Jaane Do’. She would relate to him and she was saying that now she wants to go easy and find herself.”
‘Asha Tai nahi, meri Aai thi’
Describing their personal bond, Tandon said, “Asha Tai has always been like a mother to me. The world called her ‘Tai’, but I called her ‘Aai’. In Marathi, ‘Aai’ means mother. Whenever I went to her house, I would talk to her for hours.”He added, “This loss is not only for India or our Indian film industry. It is a loss for the world because it was very unique in its own way. It taught the whole world that innovation is very important in music.”

Breach Candy was admitted to the Hospital after extreme fatigue and a chest infection.His son Anand Bhosle shared details about the last rites, asking fans to avoid overcrowding. “Tomorrow, from 10:30 am to 2 pm, people can come for my mother’s last darshan at the Casa Grande building. At 4 pm, her last rites will be performed at the crematorium. I request people not to gather there as there are chances of overcrowding.”
