Deepika Padukone, Saif Ali Khan and Diana Penty wowed fans with ‘Cocktail’ in 2012. Now, director Homi Adajania has brought back the sequel ‘Cocktail 2’. It has characteristics Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanonand Rashmika Mandanna in the main roles. Reports said that it could be released in October 2026, but the makers put the rumors to rest and shared the official date.
‘Cocktail 2’ release date
On March 13, Shahid shared a picture of himself from the film and shared the release date. ‘Cocktail 2’ will hit theaters on June 19, 2026. He said that the first look, possibly the teaser, will be on March 18. He will act with Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar 2’, the biggest film of this year. Image caption reads: “First look this Wednesday. In theaters only. Cocktail 2 opens in theaters worldwide on June 19, 2026.” Under the caption, he wrote, “For more information, head to the theaters this Wednesday, March 18.” Shahid looks cute in a printed shirt, sitting in a car with sunglasses. Shahid was last seen in Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘O’Romeo’ opposite Triptii Dimri and Avinash Tiwary. It was an action-romance film set in 1990s Mumbai based on a book about mafia queens.
