Sebastian Bach apologizes to Christina Applegate for the 1989 incident:
Rock icon Sebastian Bach has issued a heartfelt apology to actress Christina Applegate following his heartfelt memoir, which reflected on their brief romance and a painful incident at the 1989 VMAs. Acknowledging the ups and downs of his youth in the rock scene, Bach expressed genuine remorse for the pain he may have caused.

Actress Christina Applegate recently opened up about her life and struggles in her memoir, “You With The Sad Eyes.” In one of the chapters of the book, the star recalled her time with Sebastian Bach and revealed how hurt she was by their relationship.Shortly after the revelation was made public, Bach has now issued a public apology.

In an interview with Billboard, rock musician Bach talked about Applegate’s latest memoir and being mentioned in it. Revealing that he was initially surprised to learn that he had been mentioned in his book, he also expressed his apologies for his actions.In the interview, he stated: “I was a single guy on tour, in a band, and I met a lot of girls, and I’m sorry if I hurt… if I hurt anybody. When you’re young, you get caught up in the whirlwind of rock ‘n’ roll, meeting a lot of people, and you better hold on tight. It’s like being on a roller coaster.”Bach added that although this all happened a long time ago, he still apologizes for everything that has happened since then.Applegate specifically mentioned the incident at the 1989 MTV Video Music Awards. In her memoirs, she revealed that she left her date behind for Bach, ‘F1’ actor Brad Pitt. Bach shared that she felt blindsided after learning she had a then-1-year-old child, and even included a diary entry from the time in her book, in which she was glad she didn’t have sex with the rocker. On the work front, while Applegate is busy promoting her memoir, Bach has been appointed as the lead singer of the Twisted Sisters following the departure of Dee Snider.
