According to the IANS report, Sanjay Gupta took to his X account to point out that a VFX company doesn’t win an Oscar, but the people who work on the project do. He wrote: “Obvious observation. VFX companies don’t win Oscars. Technicians do.”For those who don’t know, the makers of ‘Ramayana’ have roped in VFX giant DNEG for their film. The company won the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects for ‘Dune: Part Two’ at the 97th Academy Awards.Earlier, after releasing the first teaser of ‘Ramayana’, the filmmaker posted “KHODA PAHAAD… NIKLA CHUHA”. Although she didn’t tag anyone in the post, netizens linked her post to the teaser.For the uninitiated, the phrase ‘Khoda pahaad, nikla chuha’ means something that created a lot of fuzz before the end result, and ultimately disappoints.
