“I love you with all my heart and all my soul”
In an interview with RJ Sowjanya on The Voice of Bengaluru, Reena spoke about a life-changing moment. Salman it came before his first heart transplant.“I will get emotional talking about Mr. Salman. First of all, let me tell you that I love him with all my three hearts and my soul. When I was not well and before my first heart transplant, I had his number. A lot of people have texted him, but he answered,” she said.Elaborating on the interaction, she added: “I told him I was going to get a heart transplant. He was filming in Australia at the time. He called the night of my transplant and talked to us for almost two hours. He was very kind to my family and encouraged me to go for it.’
Reconnecting years later
Reena revealed that they lost touch for almost two years after that conversation, but when she contacted her again about her foundation, Salman immediately remembered her.He was later invited to his residence, Galaxy Apartments, after his second transplant.“He has kindness written all over him. We spent the whole night at his house partying, singing and dancing. Four months after the second transplant, I had diabetes and all kinds of medical problems, but I was having a good time,” he said.
A visit to the 3 sets of races and a memorable gift
Reena also recalled visiting the sets of Race 3, describing it as a special day spent with the actor.“He took us to 3 sets of races, and we spent the whole day there. He gave me a white Being Human bike because he remembered that I sent him the message a long time ago,” he said. On the work front, Salman is gearing up for Maatrubhumi directed by Apoorva Lakhia. He has also announced an action drama with Vamshi Paidipally.
