In an interview with People, Fishel, 44, praised the ‘Espresso’ singer and said, “Sabrina gives me great advice.” The ‘Dancing With the Stars’ alum also said that despite being much older than her, Sabrina, 26, is one of the “gamer” to ask for advice, which is because the pop singer has “great instincts”. Fishel added, “He knows how to trust them, which I admire a lot because I’ve been a person who has spoken for my instincts over the years.“For Danielle Fishel, Sabrine is “truly special.”

However, Sabrina may have other thoughts for Fishel. She previously revealed that when she tried to give advice to Carpenter, 26, the singer didn’t always listen. In an episode of Fishel’s ‘Pod Meets World’ podcast, Carpenter recalled that when he released his 2022 album ‘Emails I Can’t Send’, he was advised not to do one of the songs on the tracklist.“His instincts can’t be beat,” Fishel said. “I thought he wasn’t relatable enough, and he politely told me I was wrong.”

Carpenter was the maid of honor at Fishel’s 2018 wedding to Jensen Karp. The ‘Please Please Please’ singer also cheered on Fishel during her appearance on the 34th season of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ in 2025. Fishel previously called her former co-star “the closest thing I’ll ever have to a daughter” in a 2022 Instagram post, and their love affair has led to some sweet moments over the years!
