RTE Maharashtra Lottery 2026 ends, more than 2.89 lakh applicants are waiting for the result after the draw at 11 am

RTE Maharashtra Lottery Result 2026: The RTE Maharashtra Admission Lottery for the academic session 2026-27 was held at Vidya Nirbhaya, Pune on 6th April at 11:00 am. In the computerized draw, seats were allotted to 2,89,609 applicants under 25 percent reservation quota in private schools.By 12 noon, the lottery process has been completed, and parents are waiting for the results to be released on the official portal. Officials have enabled live tracking of the draw through an online streaming link, allowing applicants to follow the proceedings in real time.Lottery Process and Access to ResultsTo ensure transparency in the election process, the lottery was conducted through a centralized digital system. Parents and guardians were able to watch the action live via the official streaming link: https://rteinfomaharashtra.com/rte-lottery-live-streaming.After the completion of the draw, the list of selected candidates is expected to be published on the official admission portal: https://student.maharashtra.gov.in/adm_portal/users/login within a few days. Candidates will also receive SMS alerts on their registered mobile numbers after the declaration of results.Application Rules and Eligibility CheckThis year, an earlier restriction limiting the choice of schools to a one kilometer radius has been lifted. Applicants who have registered for RTE 25 percent admission can now access schools within 1 km, 1 to 3 km and more than 3 km category.Patrons are also given the option to edit the submitted forms through the ‘unauthenticated’ facility in their login. Officials have advised applicants to correct any errors immediately, as incorrect or incomplete information may lead to cancellation of admission.Applicants were required to upload all required documents during submission. Officials have said that incomplete documentation at the verification stage can result in disqualification, even if a student is selected in the lottery.Important instructions for parentsParents were instructed to verify address details and Google location coordinates before final submission. Once submitted, some details such as the child’s date of birth cannot be edited.Applications submitted more than once for the same child will not be considered, and duplicate applications will be disqualified from the drawing process. Additionally, only nationalized bank passbooks are considered acceptable forms of documentation to prove residency, while gas books are no longer accepted.In case of disabled children, certification of minimum 40% disability is mandatory for eligibility.
