The Objection Process: What Candidates Should Know
RRB has enabled an online facility for candidates to challenge the provisional answer key.
- Objections should be submitted online only.
- A fee of ₹50 per question is applicable.
- The fee will be refunded if the objection is proved valid.
- Candidates must provide supporting documents or justification.
No objection will be entertained after 26 March 2026 (5 PM).
What happens next?
After the objection window closes on 26 March 2026 (5 PM), the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will scrutinize all the submissions. Each objection will be evaluated against the official question papers and marking scheme. If a challenge is found valid, the corresponding response in the temporary key will be corrected.After this evaluation process, RRB will release the final answer key, which will be considered as authentic for calculating the candidates’ scores in CBT 1. Based on these scores, the board will prepare the CBT 1 results, determining which candidates qualify for the next round of recruitment.
