After the break-in, the couple decided to strengthen security at their residence, the Daily Mail website reported.A Strongbox security team is said to have been hired to provide 24-hour protection and guards are said to be stationed in the property area. This is despite the house having advanced security systems in place. A source told The Sun: “The couple asked a security company to assess the property and the suggestion was that having the guards alive would be a huge deterrent.”The source added that “many footballers have private fitness trainers, chefs, drivers, and now security guards are being added to the list.”
The police investigation into the robbery continues
Cheshire Police confirmed they received a report of the theft on January 28. A spokesman told the Daily Mail: “At shortly after 11.10pm on Wednesday 28 January, police were called to reports of a burglary at an address in Woodbrook Road, Alderley Edge.”They also added: “Officers attended and found that the property had been entered and several items had been stolen.” The investigation is ongoing and authorities are asking anyone with information to come forward.
