In November 2025, Cinema Express mentioned on the script that he hopes to start work in 2026, saying that he is ready for the royal wedding drama. An IMDb update stuck to his December appearance: “After officially getting the green light, Taylor Zakhar Perez hopes to begin work…in the new year,” after reading the script. The success of the original, with its forbidden romance between the US president’s son and Britain’s prince, calls for this again. There’s no release date yet, but Prime Video sees a 2027 drop.
