Filming was quickly wrapped up in early March 2026, after Perez suggested early 2026 in early 2025 interviews. She shared a TikTok clip capturing the wrap party, where she, Galitzine, Rachel Hilson and Babbit cheered with applause. Perez shouted, “You’re done,” followed by Galitzine and Hilson. Babbit bluntly said, “‘A red, white, and royal wedding is a wedding! Everyone’s, including me.’ The upbeat video emphasizes the cast’s camaraderie, echoing the electric chemistry of the first film that generated huge streams. Earlier on BTS’s Instagram, Perez and Galitzine were shown joking around on set: “Welcome back!” Galitzin, before he could light up, said, “Oh, I meant we’re here for Bea’s wedding.” Perez said, “Yeah, we just wanted to clarify, you know? Perez has masterfully built up the anticipation. In a GQ chat on set in London, he opened up about juggling the shoot with the Lacoste campaigns, teasing undisclosed rom-com arrangements. In November 2025, Cinema Express mentioned on the script that he hopes to start work in 2026, saying that he is ready for the royal wedding drama. The success of the original, with its forbidden romance between the US president’s son and Britain’s prince, calls for this again. There’s no release date yet, but Prime Video sees a 2027 drop. Perez’s star rises with ‘A Family Affair’ alongside Zac Efron, establishing him as the king of roots comedy.
