RBSE Class 10 Result 2026: Re-examination, Re-examination Process Explained; Check how to apply.

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has officially released the Class 10th Result 2026 yesterday on March 24, 2026 around 1 PM. The results were displayed live on the official websites of the board: rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in and rajresults.nic.in. About 6.08 lakh students had registered for the exam to be held from February 21 to February 28, 2026. The overall pass percentage this year was 94.23 percent, slightly higher than last year’s 93.06 percent.Now, the board has also issued detailed guidelines for students who are not satisfied with their marks and want to apply for re-scrutiny, get copies of answer sheets, or re-examination in selected subjects.

Testing: What it means.

RBSE has clarified that scrutiny does not mean complete re-evaluation of answers. Instead, it simply involves checking:

  • Errors in calculation of total marks
  • Any question marks are missing.
  • Errors in transfer of numbers

There is no fresh checking of answers under scrutiny.

New option this year: re-examination

From this year, RBSE has introduced re-examination option for specific subjects:

  • English
  • Science
  • Mathematics

Students can first apply for re-examination and then request re-examination in those subjects if required.

How to Apply

Students can apply online through the official website of RBSE or e-Dosta Centers. Applications should be submitted to:

  • 7 days of declaration of result with normal fee
  • Additional 3 days with late fee

Offline applications will not be entertained under any circumstances.Application fee

  • Examination Fee: ₹400 per subject
  • Late fees: ₹800 per subject
  • Objection Fee: ₹100 per subject
  • Re-Examination Fee: ₹100 per question

Important principles students should know.

  • Students can apply for scrutiny only once.
  • Marks may increase or decrease after checking.
  • The fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.
  • Students have to upload a valid identity card (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID etc.) while applying.
  • Valid mobile number and email id are important to receive updates.

Access to answer sheet

After applying, students will receive login details via SMS or email. They can:

  • Download their scanned answer sheets.
  • Check the results within 5 days of upload.

The answer sheet will be available online for a limited time only.

Raising objections

If students find any problem after checking their answer sheet, they can raise objections online within 5 days. They should provide appropriate details such as:

  • Subject Name
  • Question no
  • Supporting evidence

No offline or late objection will be entertained.RBSE advises students not to rush to apply for scrutiny just to increase marks. Changes are made only in very rare cases, and decisions made by the Board after re-examination or re-examination will be final.Students are also advised to continue with their next academic steps instead of waiting for the revised results.
