The first trailer of Nitesh Tiwari‘s’Ramayana‘, protagonist Ranbir Kapoor lead, debuted at a special screening in Burbank, Los Angeles on Monday and fans can’t stop raving about it. The hype surrounding the film has reached new heights as initial reviews, videos and photos of the event have flooded social media sites. At the special event, viewers were treated to a teaser of the first look titled ‘Rama’, as fans at home in India will have to wait till April 2 to enjoy the show.

The performance, in an IMAX theater, was praised by the audience and the host as he took the stage, saying, “That was one of the coolest videos I’ve ever seen!”Apart from launching the teaser, he also got on board with director Ranbir Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra for a Q&A where they spoke candidly about the film, the making of it and more. Videos from the event show Kapoor interacting with the audience, expressing his gratitude while reflecting on the significance of the moment. “Thank you for coming here,” Ranbir began and continued, “It’s a very special moment for me to come with our film and labor of love and show it to all of you. You are the first people to see this.”
