PUP result 2026: Students enrolled in Punjabi University Patiala can now access the latest semester exam results through the official result portal of the university. The university has uploaded the results of various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in different semesters.The results are available on the official website, from which candidates can confirm their performance by selecting the relevant course and exam session. The aim of the digital publication is to provide immediate information, while the university says verification should be obtained through the official gazette.Courses whose results have been declared.Newly published results include programs in subjects including computer applications, humanities, sciences, engineering and performing arts. Both traditional courses and programs designed under the NEP 2020 education framework are included in the update.Among postgraduate programs, outcomes include the second semester of the two-year Master of Computer Applications course held on campus, as well as part-time Master of Technology programs in Computer Science and Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. A number of postgraduate honors courses in Indian dance and political science are also listed.At the undergraduate level, the university has released the results of honors programs in English, Geography and Mathematics under the five-year UG-PG structure aligned with NEP 2020. Results status codes used by the UniversityThe result sheet contains the standard abbreviations used in the university’s examination records. A candidate is declared PASS when the award is displayed in the result field. The symbol R indicates the need to reproduce in the specified paper.PRS indicates “previous results standing” for improvement candidates. Several subsequent categories of results are also listed, including RL-R for verification of eligibility pending by the Registration Branch and for non-adjustment of RL-FEE fee accounts.Other codes include CC for cancellation of candidature and RL-Lower for awaiting declaration of lower examination results. Marks entered as zero indicate failure in the relevant subject.The university has said that the online results are provisional and cannot be considered as the actual mark sheet. The official mark sheets are released separately by the university authorities.
