The PSTET 2026 results have been released today by PSEB on the official website.

PSTET Result 2026: The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB), through the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), is all set to release the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) 2026 results today on April 2, 2026. Candidates appearing for the exam can check their score card and final answer key on the official website pstet2025.org.Applicants are advised to keep checking the official website for updates regarding the declaration of results. Further, the board has said that no e-mail or phone requests for correction will be entertained from those who failed the examination. However, a window will be opened for applicants to correct certain details within a period of two days.The examination was conducted in two shifts in the state of Punjab.The PSTET 2026 exam was conducted offline on 15 March 2026. This exam was conducted in various centers of Punjab state. According to the teaching level, the examination was conducted in two shifts. Paper 1 for primary teachers, covering classes I to V, was conducted in the morning shift. Paper 2 for primary teachers, covering classes VI to VIII, was conducted in the afternoon shift.Direct Link to Check PSTET 2026 Result Response Key release and objection process completed.The provisional answer key was released by SCERT Punjab on 16 March 2026. On the next day i.e. 17 March 2026 candidates were given an opportunity to raise objections on the answer key. This process will be completed by March 21, 2026. After that, the answer key will be released to the candidates along with the results.Faster result processing marks a significant change.The recent cycle has shown a reduction in the days taken for declaration of results. There is a gap of 18 days between the exam date and the result date. This is much lower than the previous cycle, where the exam was held on December 1, 2024. However, the results were declared on February 19, 2025. This is a shortfall of about 80 days.How to Download Score Card and Answer KeyCandidates can download their score cards by visiting the official website and entering the login details.Eligibility Criteria and Next Steps for CandidatesCandidates securing minimum qualifying marks, usually 60 per cent for general category and 55 per cent for specific category, will get the certificate of eligibility. As per the National Teacher Qualification Rules, the certificate has lifetime validity and can be used for teaching applications across Punjab.
